Long long time ago, there was an old person called YuGong.
In front of his house there was two big mountains, both tall and big, stopping the way. When anybody from the family went out, it was very inconvenient.
One day, YuGong told his family saying:”in front of our house there is two mountains. It’s too difficult to go out. We move them away, is it good?”
The whole family said good, only his wife had no confidence.
She said:”you are already almost 90 years old. How to move the mountains? In addition, the rocks on the mountains, where to move them to?”
YuGong said: “we can throw them into the sea.”
People in the village saw that YuGong was moving the mountain, all came to help him.
An old man called ZhiSou saw this, and mocked YuGong silly.
But YuGong said:”after I die, there is still my son. My son and then my grandson. Our people will be more and more, the rocks on the mountains will be less and less. We can definitely succeed!”
